Synopsis:
You arrived in Tokyo, Japan meeting up with some foreigners and locals to go out for sushi. After a few bottles of sake and a lot of raw fish, the bill arrived. You and the others didn't have any local currency (Yen). This made the restaurant owner, Jiro Honda, very upset becuase he hates small bills. He took out his samurai sword threatening everyone. He gave you and the others 20 minutes to come up with the exact change (in Yen) or die - samurai style. Returning from your smoke/brainstorming break, you noticed that Jiro Honda has been murdered.
Everyone is a suspect of this murder that has international incident written all over it. Gather clues, interrupt others, practice saying funny sounding Japanese words - do whatever it takes to solve this mystery.

Upset with her poor fortune and horrible finances, could Sandy have killed Jiro out of shear depression? Adam Smith - No, not the economist - this is Adam Smith the speed eating champion. After downing 36 cheeseburgers in under 5 minutes, McDonald's sent him on a vacation to Japan. Could Adam have killed Jiro, becuase the sushi never filled him up? Buy this costume Hiroshi Kawasaki - This engineer worked for years for his famous family company: Kawasaki. Now, he works for Suzuki - and gets plenty teased about his name. In Tokyo for another job interview, could the stress of a second-round interview have led to a second-degree murder of Jiro? Nina Mash - This English teacher from England traveled to Japan to escape her students whom give her no respect. Could this dreadful looking woman have killed Jiro becuase he too gave her no R-E-S-P-E-C-T? Yoko Ohno - This professional karaoke singer has tremendous vocal range - as she often tries to demonstrate at dinner parties. Don't mention Aerosmith around her or she'll be singing 'Don't Want To Miss A Thing' all night long. In additional to killing The Beatles, could Yoko have killed Jiro simply becuase he tried to charge her the foreigner price for sushi? Travis McKnight - This French oil painter is famous - famous for never selling a piece of art. He traveled to Japan to draw the mountains and perhaps, make his first sale. Could Travis have killed Jiro simply becuase Jiro didn't want to buy his crummy artwork? Kelly Stall - This American was a hopeful Olympian speed walker until she slipped on some fish skin and broke her ankle in 25 places. Forced to pay her Japanese hospital bill by building robots, Kelly is angry about her misfortune. Could Kelly have killed Jiro becuase she was jealous that he could walk without crutches? Yuuta Sato - You're looking at the world's finest Sudoku puzzle champion, in the 100+ year old category. Yuuta loves numbers and boxes, and particularly enjoys putting numbers into boxes. Could Yuuta have killed Jiro out of sheer frustration - simply becuase he lost his last 5 Sudoku tournaments? |
